Galatians 6:9 NIV [9] Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

• Life is a battle; it expects you to be a winner, and it isn’t kind to you if you lose.
• So as not to be discouraged, understand:
  • How God works in your life so that you know how he will work in your life.
  • How to be patient with God – you can’t arm-twist God.
• Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength and mount up with wings like eagles.

The phases God uses to make us achievers

1. God gives you a dream. Everything, including families, businesses, careers, etc., starts as a dream.
2. God gives you the will to decide to pursue or discard the dream. Dreams require an investment of time, energy, and other resources. Decide to pursue the dream that God gives you.
3. God working in your life usually features a delay somewhere between the giving of the dream and the manifestation of it. Noah waited 120 years, Moses – 40, Abraham – 100, and delays don’t destroy God’s purpose for you.
4. God’s next phase after accepting the dream is facing difficulties in the path to realizing the dream.
5. They then get to a dead end. For Abraham, the dead end led him to Ishmael. For the Israelites, after receiving the dream of freedom in the land of milk and honey, their dead end was between Pharaoh’s army and the sea. God can raise the dead, and your situation that looks dead. 2 Corinthians 1:9 NIV. [9] Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. 6. The final phase is the manifestation of the dream. God brings deliverance.

As you wait for the dream…

1. Withstand. Ephesians 6:13.
2. Anticipate.
3. Intercede. Luke 18:1.
4. Trust. Trust in the Lord and He will make it good.
