  • Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.
  • The olden days were days of prayer, and a prayerless church is a powerless church.

Nuggets

  1. The olden days were days of paths of righteousness. Holiness was love and reverence for God, regarding their speeches. God still honors Holiness, for He is the Holy one. No power of God without the purity of God.
  2. The olden days were days of paths of respect and honor of God. *Psalms 119:11 NIV[11] I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. https://bible.com/bible/111/psa.119.11.NIV*. There is still power in the word of God.
  3. The olden days were days of paths of strong faith. The old church believed in God first, not as a last resort. *Hebrews 13:8 NIV[8] Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. https://bible.com/bible/111/heb.13.8.*NIV. Have great faith in God.
  4. The olden days were days of paths of revival. *Psalms 85:6 NIV [6] Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you https://bible.com/bible/111/psa.85.6.NIV*. They didn’t rush out of church, but tarried in God’s presence.
  5. The olden days were days of paths of honoring God’s house. Ecclesiastes 5:1 NIV[1] Guard your steps when you go to the house of God. Go near to listen rather than to offer the sacrifice of fools, who do not know that they do wrong. https://bible.com/bible/111/ecc.5.1.NIV. People respected God’s house, prepared for service.
